FoodHunt: Kukus Stim Habis @ Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL

Set Alakazam (RM 15.90): Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken comes with Sambal Tebaboh. This set comes with a complimentary drink which I choose Kopi'O Peng (Ice) for it.

The set lets you choose either Kopi O (Hot/Cold), Teh O (Hot/Cold), or Soya Bean.

I have also ordered a Sandwich which is called Otak- Otak Sandwich (RM 14.90)

REVIEW:
The presentation and the decoration of the restaurant comes with a touch of modern and olden days design whereby it reminds us when parents wake us up in the weekends and ask to go for breakfast in the restaurant. This really reminds me of those days, how I wish the time can be rewind again.

Come back to KUKUS, It is a self service restaurant whereby you have to make an order and pay via cash only at the cashier counter at the front once you have enter the restaurant. She will then pass you the receipt of the order you have made. Then there's two places for food and drinks collection, it somehow don't have a numbering system whereby the worker will put your food at the tray for you to collect but this comes into my mind, what if the person in front and behind of you ordered the same thing and there's only one, will the customer know that it is theirs or belongs to who?

After the collection of food and drinks at different locations, I then returned to my seat and start my feast, The Fried chicken was not too bad, I guess the alakazam came from the fried chicken though, I'm not too sure on it. The nasi lemak comes with a hard boiled egg which cuts into 2, cucumbers, peanuts, Ikan Bilis, Sambal Terbaboh and of course the main dish Fried Chicken. This Set Alakazam also comes with a complimentary drink which I choose Kopi O' Peng (Ice) Out of the selections of drinks. Unfortunately, the Kopi O' Peng taste terribly sweet, it's like I'm drinking Air Manis with Ais and I totally can't taste the Kopi O at all, Sorry to say that, the drinks is a No GO for me.

Then I have also ordered Otak-Otak Sandwich which is RM1 Cheaper than my Alakazam set whereby there's a Slice of bread with Otak Otak as its filling then cuts into half, The taste for the otak otak is not too bad and I like the concept of the Bread with Otak Otak Filing. The turn down part is the price is not affordable neither with the portion provided. RM 14.90 for it, I guess this the first and last for me to try this out.

Besides that, the cashier may be a new worker but in F&B or any service line, you have to put up a smile and be nice to customers, don't just ignore and when the customer stand at the cashier counter there waiting to order, and you just do your thing where others stuff are doing it also. It's a newly open restaurant, if there's no good impression at the start, would you think others will even come in to have their first try?

VERDICT/ RATINGS:-
Service: 2/5
Cleanliness: 4/5
Price: 2/5 (To me, It's Overprice & Not affordable)
Ambient: 4/5
